Project Finance
		The unit is to serve this growing segment of the local economy and with the IFC, 10- year credit facility, the project finance area is involved in providing loan syndications and medium-term funding facilities to promising ventures. On may 12th, 2006 Bank of Beirut s.a.l. signed an agreement with IFC's Global Trade Finance Corporation for an amount of USD 20 million. This program supports trade with emerging markets worldwide and promosts the flow of goods and services between developing countries. IFC provides guarantee coverage of bank risk in emerging markets, allowing recipients to expand their trade finanace transactions within an extensive network of countries and banks and to enhave their trade finance coverage.
	The program allows Bank of Beirut s.a.l. to increase the volume and value of trade transactions with enhanced tenors and access the competitive pricing terms.
